Elvalandet

From Elvalandet. An island in a fjord called Namsenfjorden. Namsos municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county.

Nord-Trøndelag borders Nordland to the north, Sør-Trøndelag to the south, Sweden to the east and the Norwegian Sea to the west.

Did you know that the geographical centre of Norway has been identified as a spot in the Ogndalsfjella in the southeastern part of the municipality of Steinkjer in Nord-Trøndelag county. A monument marking the significance of the spot. Unveiled in a ceremony on 3 September 2006.
